Andean Explorer Train
The Andean Explorer, Peru’s premier luxury train, is the first overnight train in South America to operate at over 4,000 meters above sea level, covering 700 kilometers with unparalleled comfort and elegance. On your journey between Cusco and Arequipa, we will visit emblematic and magical places such as Lake Titicaca or the Colca Canyon. With an extension of 16 cars, the train has 35 cabins for up to 70 passengers who can enjoy two restaurant cars, an observatory, bar, lounge and an exclusive spa.
Living rooms
We will find different spaces dedicated to the enjoyment of passengers, such as the Lounge Car with a baby grand piano setting the mood for our trip, comfortable seats and luxury cocktails. In the Observatory Car we can relax admiring the majestic landscapes, talk with other passengers or drink a well-prepared Pisco Sour.

Two restaurant cars at your disposal where you can taste colorful and tasty dishes with local Peruvian ingredients with a mountainous landscape as a backdrop. The menus have been designed by the ambassador chef of Peruvian cuisine, Diego Muñoz. Classic and distinctive regional dishes inspired by products from the Andes.

Belmond Andean Explorer has 35 magnificent cabins with fabulous wood finishes, linen covered walls, leather seats and bathrooms adorned with local stones. All of them with complete private bathroom, air conditioning, 220v outlet, wardrobe, robes and slippers. We find three different layouts: Bunk Cabin (9 cabins) with 59,20 Sq. F, Twin Cabin (9 cabins) with 79,65 Sq. Ft and Suite Cabin (17 cabins) with a spacious 141 Sq. Ft.
